Advertising Disclosure
Moor History Center is an evidence-first educational site. Advertising, sponsorships, donations, and affiliate links may help support the work, but they do not control editorial conclusions, source labels, claim assessments, or historical interpretation.
Display advertising
Display ad units are labeled as advertisements and are placed away from source lists, claim evidence cards, citation blocks, and opening trust signals. Source records, claim reviews, source archives, claim archives, source-type taxonomies, and evidence-status taxonomies are treated as research-sensitive surfaces and should remain ad-free.
Affiliate links
If Moor History Center uses affiliate links in the future, the page should include a clear disclosure near the recommendation or link. Affiliate relationships should not change whether a source is included, how a claim is assessed, or how evidence strength is described.
Sponsored support
Any sponsored placement, sponsor acknowledgement, or partner support should be clearly labeled. Sponsors may support access to educational work, but they may not direct historical claims, evidence labels, source selection, or editorial conclusions.
Corrections and questions
If an ad, sponsor note, or affiliate link appears unclear, contact the site owner so the disclosure can be reviewed.
